Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Use apply to HotRoute-operated websites and web experiences, including our marketing pages, blog, release notes, documentation, support experiences, and web-based product surfaces.

By accessing or using a HotRoute web property, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use HotRoute web properties.

If you access or use HotRoute on behalf of an organization, team, staff, or other entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these terms.

Who may use HotRoute web properties

You may use HotRoute web properties only if you can lawfully enter into these terms and your use is not prohibited by applicable law.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of HotRoute web properties complies with applicable laws, rules, regulations, and any obligations that apply to your organization or role.

Youth, school, and student use

HotRoute may support youth teams, school teams, student athletes, and under-13 athletes through approved product workflows. Those workflows require the appropriate parent, guardian, school, district, youth organization, or contractual authority before child or student information is provided to or processed by HotRoute.

These terms require cooperation and accurate authority information from the customer organization, but they do not transfer HotRoute's operator obligations to a school, coach, staff member, parent, guardian, organization admin, or customer unless counsel has approved the specific model.

  • Under-13 athletes may use approved HotRoute product surfaces only through an authorized team, parent or guardian, school, district, youth organization, or similar approved context.
  • A coach, staff member, organization admin, or guest account does not automatically create parent, guardian, school, or district consent authority for child or student information.
  • School or district use may require contract terms, data-protection agreements, direct notice, student-data limits, and request workflows before HotRoute processes school-managed roster, player, learning, support, or education-record information.
  • HotRoute may pause, restrict, suspend, delete, de-identify, or refuse child or student accounts, invites, records, content, support cases, or AI-assisted workflows when the required authority is missing, revoked, expired, disputed, or cannot be verified.

Account and use responsibilities

If a HotRoute web property requires an account, invitation, or authenticated access, you are responsible for providing accurate information and keeping your credentials secure.

You are responsible for activity that occurs through your account or credentials and for promptly notifying HotRoute if you believe your credentials, account, or access have been lost, exposed, or misused.

Acceptable use restrictions

You may not use HotRoute web properties to do any of the following:

  • Use HotRoute web properties for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or misleading activity.
  • Interfere with, disrupt, damage, probe, enumerate, or attempt unauthorized access to HotRoute systems, accounts, data, tenants, organizations, teams, support cases, or infrastructure.
  • Copy, scrape, republish, distribute, or exploit HotRoute content, software, or materials except as allowed by these terms or with written permission.
  • Extract, harvest, infer, disclose, or misuse personal information, customer data, support data, credentials, secrets, operational metadata, or cross-tenant information.
  • Use automation, bots, scripts, load generation, vulnerability probing, scraping, prompt attacks, or other technical means in a way that harms HotRoute, bypasses intended controls, or exceeds the service's intended use.
  • Upload, transmit, or introduce malware, harmful code, or other materials designed to impair the service or others' use of it.
  • Use HotRoute web properties in a way that infringes, misappropriates, or violates the rights of HotRoute or any third party.
  • Upload or submit content you do not have the right to provide, including content that violates privacy, publicity, intellectual property, confidentiality, school, league, contractual, or other third-party obligations.
  • Invite an under-13 athlete, submit child or student information, or use HotRoute for a school or youth organization unless the required parent, guardian, school, district, or youth organization authority has been established for that use.
  • Misuse AI-assisted workflows, including attempts to bypass access controls, reveal hidden instructions, obtain another tenant's data, generate harmful content, or treat AI output as an authoritative decision without appropriate review.
  • Misrepresent your identity, affiliation, authority, or right to act on behalf of a person, organization, or team.

Ownership, intellectual property, and site content

HotRoute web properties, including their software, design, text, graphics, branding, interfaces, and related content, are owned by or licensed to Absolute Zero LLC and are protected by applicable intellectual property and other laws.

Subject to these Terms of Use, HotRoute grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use HotRoute web properties for their intended purposes.

These terms do not transfer ownership of HotRoute intellectual property to you or grant you any right to reuse HotRoute materials beyond what is expressly allowed here or by written permission.

User-submitted content

You may choose to submit information, messages, files, feedback, support cases, requests, product materials, or other content through HotRoute web properties.

You retain whatever rights you have in content you submit, but you grant HotRoute the right to host, process, transmit, reproduce, store, and use that content as reasonably necessary to operate, maintain, support, improve, and secure HotRoute web properties and related services.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to submit that content and that it does not violate law, contract, privacy obligations, or the rights of any third party.

Privacy, data, and support content

HotRoute's Privacy Policy explains how HotRoute collects, uses, shares, retains, and deletes personal information across HotRoute web properties, including account data, organization and team data, support data, billing metadata, analytics, and approved AI-assisted workflows.

Support cases and replies you submit may be processed by HotRoute support admins, stored in approved customer operations systems, and used for troubleshooting, continuity, accountability, security review, product improvement, and support operations.

  • You are responsible for the legality, accuracy, permissions, and confidentiality obligations that apply to the information and content you submit to HotRoute.
  • If you use HotRoute on behalf of an organization, you are responsible for ensuring that your organization has the right to provide account, team, staff, player, roster, support, billing, and product information to HotRoute.
  • If you use HotRoute on behalf of a youth team, school, district, league, club, or similar organization, you are responsible for ensuring that your organization has the parent, guardian, school, district, contractual, and legal authority required for the child, student, roster, team, support, and product information you provide.
  • You may submit support content only for legitimate support, troubleshooting, account, billing, security, or product-operation purposes.
  • You must not use HotRoute to submit unnecessary secrets, payment instrument details, protected health information, or other sensitive information unless HotRoute has expressly requested it for an approved workflow.

AI-assisted workflows

HotRoute may provide or use AI-assisted workflows in product, support, operations, security, or administrative contexts. These workflows may process prompts, responses, retrieved product or support context, and request metadata as described in the Privacy Policy.

  • AI-assisted workflows are provided to help operate, support, troubleshoot, secure, or improve HotRoute; they do not replace human judgment where review or authority is required.
  • You may not use AI-assisted workflows to bypass account, organization, team, support, billing, privacy, or security controls.
  • AI output may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for a particular use. You are responsible for reviewing output before relying on it or sharing it.
  • HotRoute may process prompts, responses, retrieved context, and related metadata as described in the Privacy Policy and applicable workflow disclosures.

Service availability and no guarantees

HotRoute web properties may change over time. We may add, remove, revise, suspend, or discontinue features, content, pages, or functionality at any time.

HotRoute does not guarantee that any web property will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or suitable for your specific needs.

Suspension and termination

HotRoute may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to any HotRoute web property if we reasonably believe these terms have been violated, the service is being misused, access poses a security or operational risk, or suspension is otherwise necessary to protect HotRoute, our users, or other parties.

You may stop using HotRoute web properties at any time.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, HotRoute web properties are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Absolute Zero LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, business, goodwill, revenue, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use HotRoute web properties.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time as HotRoute grows, launches new web experiences, or changes how it operates.

When we make updates, we will revise the “Last updated” date on this page and, when appropriate, provide notice through the relevant HotRoute web property.
